Towards an Affordable, High Quality Writing Retreat

Ever since we dreamed of BWWE, we have been in dialogue about how there are so many writing retreats with price tags that are out of reach for writers who would benefit from the opportunity.

We decided that BWWE would never be price prohibitive.

We believe in a high quality experience that is also financially feasible to as many people as possible.

This goal takes work to maintain. We fund raise to offset the cost of the retreat so we never turn away someone who can’t afford the price.

It takes a village to make this happen!

Please contact us if you are interested in an annual donation that would support participants and sustain the legacy of Black writers in Europe.

For a three-year annual donation of $1000 we will name a scholarship in honor of someone of your choosing.

For an annual donation of at least $200, we would be glad to list your name on our website in honor of your support.
