This six-session class invites writers of all experience levels to deepen their craft by learning how to read like writers. Centered on the African diaspora canon, the course treats reading as an active, investigative practice, one that reveals how language works, how meaning is shaped, and how stories are built.
By the end of the six sessions, participants will have developed sharper analytical tools, new approaches to craft, and fresh pages of original writing—along with a renewed sense of reading as a vital, creative act.
